Add congregations, plant churches

We want adding congregations and planting churches to become part of our diocese’s DNA

Every day, more people move to our region. We want to see these lives transformed. The only way to have a hope of welcoming these people into our communities and reaching them with the gospel is to plant many more congregations, fast.

If we are to do this, we need a church planting strategy at the diocesan level.

Planting is not just for outsiders, it’s good for us too

Planting new churches and congregations is preventative medicine. It prevents us from becoming insular, timid and complacent. It forces us to meet our community where they are today.

We want to be a diocese that is always thinking about how we can better welcome the outsider and how we can be better communciate Jesus.

The best way to do this is to keep planting.
